Juan lives in Mexico City where he studied law and subsequently studied a masters degree in London where he also worked. For the first 11 years of his career, he acted as a lawyer, covering most aspects of real estate such as development, financing and M&A for all asset classes. He then moved as development director for Mexico and LatAm for UK based hyperscale data center and industrial build-to-suit developers.
He has been involved in several multi hundred million dollar national and cross-border transactions, working for and alongside some of the most sophisticated parties in the real estate world. The complexity has resided not only in the nature of the projects but also in Understanding and weaving through the different cultures of the parties involved as well as translating LatAm to expected global standards.
Juan speaks Spanish, English German, Italian and a dash of French, loves negotiation and its study, is an avid marathon runner, keen history reader and above all devoted to his wife and 2 children.
